I’ve said it before, but I love this couple. My relationship with Alexandria goes back several years, and we’ve built a great friendship. I am so honored that she trusts me with so many special events in her life, and I’m so happy for the life she is building with a wonderful man.
It may look wintery, but we had a gorgeous warm day at the end of February. Since we are still waiting on Spring blooms and green grass, we opted for a moody wooded session. I am really excited about her images and can’t wait to see them displayed at her wedding. For her bridals, we are hoping for beautiful cherry blossom trees. It will be here before you know it, and I can’t wait!
I’m often asked if I photograph weddings and I’ve been a bit reluctant to say yes. There was a time when wedding photography was a staple in my business, and with three little boys, it became difficult to be away on weekends, manage a portrait business, and be an involved mom.
Now that they are a bit older (though more active than ever), I have an easier time saying yes to weddings, engagement, and bridal sessions. I will, however, only accept a handful a year, and only if it feels like a great fit for us both. If you or a dear friend are looking for wedding or portrait coverage, I would love to be considered.
